Electromagnetic Synchronizer
Project Overview
This was one of my early engineering projects, built during my undergraduate studies at the University of Michigan.
Technical Details
The synchronizer was designed to:
- Align electromagnetic signals across multiple channels
- Reduce phase drift in communication systems
- Provide stable timing for data transmission
Design Approach
- Used inductors and capacitors for signal processing
- Implemented analog feedback for automatic adjustment
- Achieved sub-millisecond synchronization accuracy
Skills Demonstrated
- Circuit design and analysis
- Electromagnetic field theory
- Practical engineering implementation
- Problem-solving with limited resources
This project sparked my interest in the mathematical foundations of communication, eventually leading to information theory.
